Soundview Academy for Culture & Scholarship welcomes families seeking a supportive, engaging middle school experience for grades 6–8. Our admissions process is designed to be clear and accessible, helping families learn more about our programs, values, and community. Below you’ll find important dates, resources, and next steps to guide you through applying to Soundview Academy.

Families can apply to join Soundview Academy for Grades 6–8 using NYC DOE’s MySchools application system.

Order Uniforms(2026-2027)

At Soundview Academy for Culture & Scholarship, we believe school uniforms help build community, promote equality, and keep the focus on learning. Our uniform policy supports a positive and respectful school culture where all students feel included and proud of their school community. Families can order uniforms online through our official vendor —Peligro Sports.

Daily Uniforms

  • Black or beige top with SVA emblem (T-shirt, polo, long sleeve, sweater or sweatshirt)
  • Solid black pants or skirt
  • Skirts/dresses/shorts must reach knee length

  • No shorts or leggings
  • Worn on gym days only
